Software engineers are responsible for the development of products. Typical requirements include a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of software development experience on Windows and UNIX platforms.

Test engineers are responsible for software quality assurance on both Windows and UNIX platforms. We generally require a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, as well as experience with software test design and development, scripting languages, and automated test tools.

Positions require strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; expertise in network management or product document management; creativity in problem solving; and a firm commitment to the customer. Responsibilities include: providing project analysis, functional specifications, requirement definitions, system design, system implementation strategies, and management and organization of overall activities of the project.

We typically seek personnel with 5-10 years of sales experience in a high technology environment We often seek individuals with product document management experience in an industry similar to Auto-trol.
